The 2025/26 Season continued on the Cuddesden Mill Village AC stretch of the River Thame at Cuddesden Mill.  We had 7 members out on a hard but great Venue.  Thanks to Richard Borrell for sorting out the pegs for us and passing on his local knowledge for what it was worth.  Gary Wood won with 1-8-8 with Dave Ashton 2nd with 0-13-0, making a rare excursion out on a Club Match, and Trevor Rowe 3rd with 0-11-0. Full results of can be found under the Cuddesden Mill tab below.  I have updated the relevant Trophy sheets after the Cuddeden Mill Match to show the current standings.  Our next Match is back on our water at Littlestoke on the 19th October.  As a memory of the day Bob Swan took some snaps to remember the day by which I have attached below.

The 2025/26 Season continued on the 19th October at Littlestoke in intermittent light rain with a breeze.   6 Members were out and all fished upstream of the Gas Pipe.  Small fish made up the weights with none bigger than 8ozs.  Tim Watts was the clear winner with 16-2-0 on the float.  Gary Wood was 2nd with 5-1-0 on the Pole.  Everyone else fished the feeder. On a separate note there seems to be some confusion over Match Day Fees.  The only fees that are compulsory  are our Peg Fees, where applicable, which go towards paying for our Match day venues. There is a separate opportunity to participate in our Match Pools, but I have to stress this is done on a voluntary basis and is in no way compulsory.
