About Us

Welcome to the home of the Hanwell Prince Of Wales Angling Society. The Club was formed by a group of likeminded individuals with a common love  of Angling in 1938 who wanted to promote fishing in the local area.  Whilst our membership has varied over the years we have strived to maintain an inclusive atmosphere throughout that time. We are a small and friendly club that values competition angling conducted in a fair and supportive manner.  We actively encourage Junior members and strive to make sure they always fish in a safe manner under the stewardship of a parent or guardian. We also cater for disabled anglers and strive to make sure they are able to fish accessible swims and are monitored at all times. We welcome new members to our club and guarantee they will find a friendly bunch of individuals always willing to help with anything fishing related.

We fish a variety of venues on Stillwaters, Rivers and Canals in Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey in our Match Programme.  For those not interested in Match Fishing we also have exclusive fishing rights to a long stretch of the middle River Thames at Littlestoke in Oxfordshire which has a variety of different swims along its length and is home to a variety of species including Bream( to 8lb+), Chub( to 5lb+), Perch( to 3lb), Roach( to 2lb+) and Pike.

We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month at the West Drayton Community Centre to discuss club business and fishing in general.
