TROPHY NEWS AFTER MATCH 14    -   LITTLESTOKE 19/10/25

As a result of the Littlestoke Match Gary Wood has extended his lead to 12.5 Ptsover Trevor Rowe with Tim Watts some 15.5 Pts behind Trevor.  With 6 matches remaining it is likely that the Champion will com from one of these 3 as the next nearest angler is 45 Pts behind Gary.  Our next match is next Sunday at Court Farm so maybe a chance for one of the chasing pack to close the gap.

After our last Canal Match at Three Locks on the GUC and with one match remaining at Grove Marina on the GUC at the end of January Gary Wood leads the way with 44 Pts with Trevor Rowe 2 points back and Tim Watts a further 13 Points back in 3rd place.  Realistically it is now a 2 horse race between Gary and Trevor.  If Gary beats Trevor or finishes within 1 point of him he will win the title.

The River Cup sees Tim Watts take over the lead thanks to his latest win and Chris Peel has leapt into 2nd place some 5 points with Trevor Rowe 1.5 pts behind in 3rd place.  With two matches remaining at Littlestoke and with 6 out of 7 matches to count it is still too early to call a winner with Neil Smith and Gary Wood still with an outside chance to influence matters.

After our last Stillwater match on the Middle Lake at Gold Valley Jeff Hobbs maintain his place at the top of the Stillwater with 35 Points with Gary Wood  on 32 Pts and Peter Finch on 29 Pts.   We still have 3 Stillwater matches  to fish so there are still opportunities for Trevor Rowe or Russell Mudd to sneak up on the inside.
